After School Instructor at Catalyst Family Inc.

After School Instructors may work with a group of up to 20 students from TK - 8th grade with daily tasks consisting of but not limited to: Tutoring, homework assistance, and educational enrichment. Instructors must have high energy, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to maintain a fun and organized atmosphere. Instructors also ensure seamless integration of Catalyst programs with school day activities by sharing district classroom spaces and collaborating closely with school district staff. After School Instructors report to the Site Coordinator at their respective site.
Education
The MINIMUM formal relevant education required by the position.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must meet school district’s requirements which may vary based on location (i.e. passing an exam, Paraprofessional certification, etc.) College units in education, recreation, child development desired

Experience
The MINIMUM relevant experience necessary to qualify for the position.

• 6+ months’ experience working with children preferred
